I noticed pinnaclesports.com had props on horse racing online. Traynor, or anyone knowledgeable, do they offer good odds? Take a look at the bets available on that site and let me know what you think. If they are beatable then I could finally get some use out of the picks you post.

Best advice I can give you is to investigate whether the site is "onshore" (licensed under state regulations in the US) or "offshore" (everyone else). If it is onshore, like YouBet, it is fine. If it is offshore, because of the recent legislation, it would probably be best to avoid it like the plague.

Most professionals seem to use YouBet, and complaints are rare. It is legal, legitimate, licensed in the US, and about as reputable as you can get.
Good Luck :)

Pinnaclesports.com is a very reputable site. I was just wondering if you could take a look at the bets and give me a little primer on how I would use your posted information to make bets there. I would be willing to go to another reputable online book like YouBet too.

Using the information is easy; there are fairly detailed instructions on our website, and substantial additions are being made to the wagering strategy sections in the next week.

If you happen to live anywhere in the world except the US, Pinnacle is probably a good choice. Given the recent legislation regarding Internet gaming, I strongly suggest you either consult your attorney before investing with Pinnacle, or stick to US sites. It is a big issue, because the lure of "rebates" has attracted the attention of a lot of professionals and betting syndicates. As of the time the Internet bill was signed, the majority of those professionals dropped Pinnacle, Betfair, and a host of other offshores like very hot rocks.

The consensus opinion seems to be that given the "tracking" facilities of the Internet, anyone engaging in activity that could be construed as illegal is wishing a heap of hurt on themselves, for very little (if any) advantage.

Specifically, if you are picking winners, you can do every bit as well--with no problems, present or future--by sticking with the legitimate, licensed-in-the-US venues. YouBet is nearly ideal, the only complaint I have heard is that they don't carry some tracks like Philadelphia Park--which has its own venue for wagering that includes the very lucrative Chicago area harness tracks.
Good Luck :)

I will take a look at YouBet, but I really don't think Pinnacle is going anywhere for US players. They are one of the most reputable sportsbooks. As of right now they are still operating for US players and currently have no intention of changing that. But I will look into YouBet and I will check out your site. Thanks.

Don't most OTBs have bets for all US races,or the vast majority anyway?
Yes. At the local track I can bet "live" on about 20 thoroughbred simulcast tracks. The only advantage of YouBet is that it makes recordkeeping a breeze.
Good Luck

No one suggested Pinnacle was not reputable. The legislation has nothing to do with Pinnacle, but rather with the transfer of funds by banks and credit card companies. The intent of the new laws (or so the explanations go) is to keep US wagering dollars in the US.
Good Luck
