Spanish 21

Help! Yesterday I ran into a Blackgame that I have never played before called Spainish 21. I was at the Flamingo Casino in Laughlin, Nevada. It appears to be very liberal on all the blackjack options and they claim a 99 percent payout? I assume that means they are claiming a 1 percent house advantage? I played two sessions of about an hour each and was a winner on both sessions doubling my kitty both times.
The game is played using 6 decks but there are no Tens in the deck. Only A-9 and J,Q,K. Aces still count as 1 or 11. Everything else is played the same as regular blackjack. Blackjack pays 3-2 and always beats the dealer's blackjack. Player total of 21 beats dealers 21. You can split pairs including Aces up to 4 times and can double after splitting. You can take multiple hits after doubling. You can surrender anytime even after doubling. (You can take back the doubled portion of the bet and foreit the original wager on a non-busted hand). Surrender is allowed-insurance permitted, and all 21's are paid immediately.
I played this game using the basic regular blackjack rules and strategy and I came out a winner. Is this the correct strategy for this game? If so, I am ready to try this game again at higher stakes. Also, I noticed that most or nearly all of the higher stakes players were playing regular single deck blackjack. Blackjacks only paid 6 to 5 on the single deck game. I read somewhere in this forum that this was a no-no. Also, the dealer has to hit a soft 17. I don't know any of the other rules since I did not try this game. I have never played single deck blackjack and do not know if I am supposed to use the same strategy as regular 6-deck blackjack?
Thanks,
Russell
