How big of a betting spread you will use will depend on the amount of decks you are playing against and the rules you are working with.

Generally I have been using a 1-10 spread against 6 deck, but I usually go 1-5 spread against a double deck game. That is what I am comfortable with right now as I don't have much a bankroll to work with.

A TC of +3 or lower usually means a single unit bet

After that it's all uphill dpeending on the count. I don't use hi/lo anymore so I can't remember the exact counts.

What are the table rules where you most often play?

Default Betting Ramp

I use the following for 6 deck:

TC <1 bet 1 unit
TC =1<2 bet 2 unit
TC =2<3 bet 4 unit
TC =3<4 bet 8 unit
TC =4<5 bet 12 unit

You could also try 1, 2, 4, 6, 10 if you are concerned about heat.
