Which of these is a better table?

#1
Hi all.

Can anyone out there which of these two tables would be a better one at which to play?

Table 1: 6 decks, dealer hits soft 17.
Table 2: 8 decks, dealer stands on soft 17.

All other rules are the same for both tables.

Thanks!

Choose the 8-deck S17 game.

Going from 6 decks to 8 decks costs the player only about 0.03%.
The dealer hitting soft 17 costs the player 0.21%.

I'm with Ken. I once thought that soft seventeen discussions were a tempest in a teapot; but I have realized that there are just too many times that the dealer can turn a lousy hand into a winner by hitting soft 17.

Thanks for the insight guys, I'm trying a new casino on Saturday and (I am led to believe) they have both kinds of tables.

Ken, thanks for the numbers, that's exactly the kind of data for which I was looking.
