Default Super pen.

I have never in my short lived counting experiance have I seen pen. on a 6 deck game like this. 5.5 decks, all the dealers deal down to 1.5 a couple down to 1. But this guy was dealing down to .5 decks on a 6 deck shoe!!! Unfortunatly for me his shift ended after 2 shuffles. I never had a very high count in those 2 shoes. But you can bet your ass I will be looking for him next time. Can anyone tell me what EV would be on a game like this? 1-10 spread play all H17 DAS DA no surrender.

Can't wait to get back there!!!

Thanks in advance.

This happened to me too a few months back. The only difference was that it was the dealer's last day working for this casino. And the Pit boss wasn't looking. Also the dealer in question was half drunk

Ya I have played against this dealer before, He is maybe about 19 or 20 and only been with the casino about 3 months. The other times he was cutting off at the norm. The thing is the pit boss was standing right there and it did'nt seem to bother him. Hope he is around for a while.

That's very good pen, you should take advantage of it. With a 10k account using HiLo you would have about a 1.15% edge over the casino and can make about $16/hour.

A good estimate would be that you get about DOUBLE the ev when comparing 1.5 decks cutoff to .5. It is nice when you get those dealers who do that. BTW- I know a casino that consistently cuts off half a deck or less... They just leave enough in the shoe for the last round. They also make more money than any other casino in the midwest (just guessing here). perhaps other casinos should follow this type of dealing wouldnt that be nice!

Some dealers at one of my favorite casino's cut only half a deck out of an 8 deck shoe.
Iv played shoes where ill push out my max bet more then 10 rounds in a row.
To bad the max is only $100
