Default Some Advice buying chips

Hey guys,

I want to buy some chips for amateur play with my friends here at home, where should i buy them i see many options and can't make up my mind, i dont want to spend too much but i DO want some nice quality chips, i got some chips for like $6.50 (200 chips, mat, 2decks, dealer button) but its all crappy quality and other saw other chips at the mall but over $100.

So i ask you adivce balancing $$$ with quality, i want 500 chips.

Thanks in advance

I was thinking it would be a nice display of ostentation to actually get your chips from the casino the hard way: by paying for them at the table. If you're lucky, they'll have .50 and dollar chips.
