Eventually the RFID tokens will be synched with mag-strip playing cards. The fully integrated system already exists. zg

Ok, someone invents technology and someone finds a way around it! But in the case of RFID chips why?

I can relate people not wanting to have Big Brother know their brand of toothpaste and hair shampoo but chips?

I don't know about you but when I go to the casino's I play by the rules. I don't cheat I use my brain power for me. I don't want to be accused of palming chips, taking chips, stealing chips, etc.

As far as getting barred, bounced, asked to leave, 86'd - so be it. It's their house and their game. There are many other casinos around. Being paranoid about RFID chips is silly - unless you put yourself in with those who try minting their own chips, or stealing chips or other deceitful practices.

Having a fully integrated system means that now I get fully comped for my play, without "hoping" that the pit boss marks down the right numbers. Good, bad or indifferent? It depends on how friendly you are with the boss. Some of those comps might disappear for people who were "over rated"

Lets put it this way, bring one of those RFID "zappers" into a casino with a fully integrated system and I GUARANTEE you'll by 86'd FOR LIFE when you get caught! I mean why would you have one unless you're a cheat right?

I would not use it in the casino, just an interesting piece of technology.. Maybe if you take your chips to your room and go to town with it, it may not be illegal? Or maybe you could be busted for tampering with casino property.. Who knows.

Or bring your laptop in and use this to reprogram the chips..
