The Bonanza Casino , north of town on Virginia Street, has gone to a $2 minimum:cry:
My wife and I stopped by earlier this week. She's never played so I figured this would be a "safe" place to learn. Amazingly they asked us for our Player's cards to track us for comps. On a $20 buy-in and $2 flat bets?
As an aside, the staff is basically older men who have retired from the big casinos and they are very patients with new players and chat up a storm.
Finally, you get 5 comp points for every dollar spent in the restaurant so it's pretty easy to get the free T-shirt (100 points) to take home
P.S. She won $7 and I cleared $8 in about 30 minutes of playing. Cool!
