Foxwoods vs. Mohegan Sun
I am going to Connecticut next month. Can someone give me a comparison of Foxwoods vs. Mohegan Sun. I have never played blackjack at either so I want to know which is better rules/less heat.

Foxwoods has a much better game.
As it seems you travel to a bunch of different casinos, you should pick up The American Casino Guide. Not only does it have directions to all the casinos,it has many great coupons, including two $25 matchplay for Foxwoods. You can get two copies for about $25 from Amazon. If you hit either of the MPS,the books will be free.

Both have very similar rules. Make sure you know all your late surrender indices. Foxwoods has better average pen. Mohegan has some 6D games available out on the main floor. Mohegan also has better food and entertainment and a higher class crowd. But the tables tend to be more crowded.
As a visiting player, heat will be a non-issue for you. It took them a couple of years to bar me from Mohegan.

Monkey,
If you don't mind elaborating, I would like to know a little more about how you ended up getting barred at Mohegan, as I play there myself and would like to keep doing so. How much were you betting, spread, frequency of play, using a comp card, any particular session that got you barred, etc.? Based on your experience, any suggestions to avoid getting barred? Thanks.

I'm a green chip player, played quite a large spread, lots of hours, lots of exploiting dealer errors, a little bit of advanced AP. I just wore out my welcome, as we all do eventually. They bought a new truck for me.

Thanks for the info!
I got a copy of the book a week ago and went to Foxwoods last night. I waited until the count justified a 10-unit (red) bet and threw a Green + MP coupon onto the circle. Landed a blackjack.
The book cost me $15, but has paid out $37.50 :-) Best bargain I ever found.
