I'm just fooling around with the BJ trainer right now. Up to 21000 right now.

Stats currently:

156 hands.
77wins 58 losses 21 pushes for 49%

I think my best ever was 28,000 but that was over 2 years ago lol.

Anyone make more?

Up to 30,000 but then finally lost it all...final stats before losing.

421 hands. 182wins 196lost 43push. 43%

Just goes to show that playing basic strategy alone without counting will eventually grind you down.

Well, my totals weren't as impressive as yours....but I wasn't on a trainer this weekend either. I took $200 to AmeriStar in Kansas City and played on the $3 tables. My purpose was just to have some fun on my birthday. I played at about the break even point from noon until 1am Saturday morning. You see it all on th $3 tables up there! Definitely not something for the player who gets mad when tablemates do stupid things <LOL>

I went back to the same tables around 10am Saturday morning. I was up around $50 after 3 or 4 hours of play and then, for some reason, everyone at the table got up and left! I went heads up with the dealer for almost an entire shoe and lost $150. Should have gotten up and left, but what the hell, it was just $3 bets. But can you imagine the loss to win ratio in that run? Unbelievable!

At the start of the next shoe, I bumpped my bets up to $5 and $10 and won it all back. After 10 hours on Friday and 9 hours on Sunday, I walked out with exactly the same $200 that I started with...except for a comp'd meal and another comp for the bakery <LOL>. Straight Basic Strategy, 6-deck, H17, 3:2, DOA, DAS, no Surrender.

That was a horrible run to lose 150$ at $3 a bet, yikes. My worst experience at a table playing heads up (I don't recall exactaly how much I lost because I'm still reeling from the event), in a six deck shoe was winning only 3 hands the entire shoe. I'm still hoping for the magical day that variance deals me a shoe where I only lose 3 hands to compensate for that day.

Your dream happened to me on the last trip to Kansas City. I caught a table just as they were opening it and sat and watched the dealer wash the cards. There were several people standing by the table but they were superstitious I guess and didn't want to play the first shoe. I took the dealer on heads up with $5 bets. I won well over $150 on that shoe. Had a stack of reds that was threatening to fall over <LOL> Pit Boss and a relief dealer were all watching the action and really playing it up. The stand-behinds still refused to get in on the shoe so I played the entire shoe heads up. Very Lucky!

Hey Mike great story, and probably a shoe where you won many more in a row than the one I'm about to tell you...

I played at one casino and dropped 16k in less than 20mins. That loss broke my then current 26 session win streak.

Went home and grabbed 20k and went to another casino. Right off the bat I was up 10k...then the losses happened...Before I knew it I was down that 10k plus down another 10k.

Bought in at another table and was down 3k more. Now I'm -29k for the evening.

Then the magical roll happened. $500 bet converted to 1k. That single 1k needed a double down 4-6 versus an 8. Trouble was I had to buy in again for another 1k. I'm in deep now for 30k. Well I won that hand so I'm back to 4k. 2 spots at 1k now. Won that. 4 spots at 1k and I win enough to get to 8k in my hand. Keep in mind I'm in for 14k at this casino and minus 22k for the night so far.

Then I'm dealt 2-2, 8-3, 10-9, and 10-7 versus a dealer 4....I split the 2's and draw a 12, and draw an 8 so I double that, my 8-3 converts to a 20 so in total I'm in for 7k. Dealer draws a 10 and an 8 to bust. Up to 15k. From that point I keep drawing 20's and BJ's and win a few in a row until I completed a 30k run from basically my last 1k.

I cleaned out the chip tray twice during this run and my friend counted 20 ppl around the table cheering and groaning as I played.

So all together...it was a 700 dollar positive night. Entirely stressful, but I have to admit it was fun. This coming from a guy that doesn't play for fun lol.
