Best Rules in Tahoe?
Hey Guys,
Me and some fellow riders are planning a crotch-rocket ride (120+ mph) down to Tahoe this summer. Since the guys aren't into counting, just curious which casino is the best for me to "recommend". I.E. which casino in Tahoe has the best rules?

Re: Best Rules:Tahoe?
If you're talking Tahoe itself (lakeside) without a doubt it's the Biltmore at North Shore (old Nevada Club). They offer 2D DAS DOA with 80% pen. During the week it's $5 min. weekends usually $10.
If you're talking Reno area also, then Siena Happy Hour would be the ticket. We figured it to be around 2% PLAYER ADVANTAGE without counting, but keeping track of aces helps greatly. This is every weekday 10-11AM,1D DAS,DOA also featuring burn stiff 16, suited and double BJ's pay bonus and more sumptuous other goodies.($5 min.$25max.)
Lastly, in Verdi on I-80 is Boomtown. SD DOA and Pen. is Ro7! Need I say more? That should get you started.

Barring Siena's game (too bad I wasn't there on a weekday), if you want to head all the way out to East Sparks, the Alamo truckstop has a single deck game, DOA, later surrender. $5-$100. It's friggin' sweet.
The late surrender seems unique in town, although a few other places (Boomtown, Siena, and I guess some sparks joints) offer a single deck DOA game.
Most other single deck games in town allow double on 10,11 only.

Don't know if you really care, but I think the Lakeside Inn has a nice game by way of good dealers and rapid drink service. I'd imagine that the hardcore pros don't give two shits, but for a good time--that's my recommendation.
Good luck

Thanks guys, I'm actually very familiar with all the casinos in Reno, especially Siena, Boomtown, and Alamo (I've done well at all 3). But I've never played in Tahoe itself. The guys in my motorcycle crew simply want to go to Tahoe for a night of drunken debauchery, but I figured if we were in Tahoe, I could persuade them to go to a casino with better rules. Biltmore sounds like a winner to me. If they choose to go to Lakeside Inn I'll know what to look for as well. Thanks for all the info!

In tahoe go to the Crystal Bay Club.
If you are looking for a good time go to the Crystal Bay Club I agree that the Biltmore had good rules but they recently changed them back so go next door to the Crystal Bay Club.

What are the rules at Crystal Bay? Do you know how the rules changed at the Biltmore? Anyone have the latest from trackjack?

How the rules changed at the Biltmore...
I didn't go to trackjack to find this info I went into the Biltmore itself and looked at the rules. When the posters above posted the info the Biltmore had not changed their rules back so they where right at the time it was posted. They moved the 2 deck game with the really good rules of Double any two cards double after a split and made it six decks. For the 1 and 2 deck game they went to double on 10-11 only.
They also started offering superfun 21 this game pays even money for blackjacks but you can double any time and double after a split! You can also draw to split aces and they have a whole host of friendly rules. The even money for blackjack unless it is in Diamonds which pays 2 to 1 hurts a whole lot.

That last rule is what kills any advantage on super fun.
Since you've been down there recently, what do you think is the best hotel to stay in, regarding it being relatively inexpensive but nice?
Also, do you remember what rules Crystal Bay had?
