Default L'Auberge du Lac casino

does anyone have experience with L'Auberge du Lac? Are the dealers better than the ones at the Coushatta casino, I've heard that many of them came over from Kinder after Katrina...

how is the lodge/food there- I am thinking of making a spring trip over to lake charles

Default L'Auberge

I have been there a few times since it opened. Dealers seem to be similar, and yes, some have moved from Coushatta. I don't know about working conditions at Coushatta, but some dealers have griped about management there. I was impressed with L'Auberge's facilities, rooms, and restaurants. The problem is that I never win there. Also I don't really like the blackjack pit arrangement. I always end up driving back to Coushatta to finish my trips. Coushatta just has the "feel" I enjoy. Coushatta has $10 min. DD games, allows playing extra spots without increasing bet amount, and has more $5 and $10 tables available. Finally, the Big Sky Steakhouse is hard to beat. That's my assessment. I hope you have better success at the tables than I!
