online blackjack

I googled for information on blackjack and I found this site. I am interested in playing blackjack at online casinos. Are there any expert players who can help me? I have heard about bonuses but do not know very much about them. Any tips? Can I really win?

How does an online casino ID you as a US player? I could probably open an account and get a debit card in Canada .... would that make them think I'm Canadian?

Are there enough bonuses around to be worth my trouble?

Well, when they track your IP back they can see that you live in USA, you have to give the correct informations about your person, or they have enough reasons to ban you, void your winnings and keep your money...

If you're in the US, you've missed the boat. If you're outside the US, I expect the conditions are also very tight. The bonus game was lucrative while it lasted, but is pretty much over.
I respectfully disagree. Yes, bonuses are tighter than several years ago. However, there are still plenty of quality bonuses, and playing them still can be lucrative. I gained nearly $40k playing through the bonuses during the final 7 months of last year.

Hmmmmmm...... So I'd have to spoof my IP and set up a fake address in Canada? Hardly worth the trouble. I Suppose I could move to Canada. :)

They void you winnings? That Sux!

It's not like it's the worst thing they can do, some casinos even keep what you deposited to play :p Go over to http://www.casinomeister.com to read some of the storys ^^ I personaly never hat such problems.

If you wan't to play some bonuses, there are still enough casinos for US residents, the only problem is the payment, but I think there are enough people here who can help you with that.

Well that was an interesting read. I read that other thread and there seemed to be quite some argument over whether one could make money and how much. And some suggesting none could be made. And even here there are people saying they made $40k. How do you make $40k when others are suggesting that nothing, or very little, can be made? Are the others missing something or just not trying hard enough? Or have you been lucky?

I've made close to $20k on paper over six months, although I've only been able to cash out on $10k (slow casinos, neteller freeze, etc)

Conditions are worse now, so it would probably be $10k or less if I started right now.

yeh, if you're located in the US, i'd just not bother at this point. i know of ppl who have over $10k frozen in neteller. also some casinos are just mistreating US players quite severely, although def. not all. but its just really complicated and a noob will likely get swallowed whole.

The sum of the EVs for the casinos on the best bonus list on my site is ~$18k. The sum of the EVs for the monthly bonuses is ~2k. So between the two, the 1-year EV is $18k + (12-1)x $2k ~= $40k.

In addition to the above, there are also reload bonuses. For example, Grand Prive often offers reload bonuses that are as good as the sign-up bonuses. For a period last year, I was averaging about 1 Grand Prive per day. If you want to risk playing with Virtual Group, they offer some of the best reloads out there. A few days ago (on 3/17), Virtual casino offered a 317% up / 317% cashback / 317% free chip bonus with a maximum listed bonus of $317,000. This 300+% free chip was cashable with 30xB blackjack wagering. I gained several thousand on this offer, which was 4x my deposit.

Regarding my personal play, I had several things against me that prevented me from taking full advantage of the bonuses. The main one was living in the US. Because of this, a lot of bonuses were not available from the start. And after about 5 months, nearly all the good monthly bonuses dropped US players. So I netted more than my expected gain overall... there was definitely some luck involved.

Theres still a lot of casinos accepting players from the US, admittedly the 'better' ones aren't e.g. 888, All Casino Blasters and intercasino. I've got a list of casinos still accepting US players here and all the bonus info etc etc etc
