Drink while you play?

#1
I can anticipate the answer, but I'll ask anyway. Last weekend in Tahoe, I was lucky enough to attend a raucous bachelor party at Harrahs for a great friend. After the requisite partying and strippers, we headed for the tables. I was not in my right mind, but proceeded to win $900 over 3 hours. I'm pretty sure I stuck to Basic Strategy, but I know I bet much looser than I usually do, ending up betting $50 to $100 a hand, way out of my teacher salary league, but it certainly paid off. I know casinos feed you drinks for a reason, but the alcohol reduced the pucker factor, made for a great table(dealer hung out with us after his shift) and loosened my tight fists.

How does drinking affect your play/results?
