Default Double Exposure BlackJack

Any thoughts on this game? The trade-off between seeing the cards vs. losing pushes and even money blackjacks seems ok to me, particulary if you play with a Tournament-Like mentality.

Default Double exposure is not Blackjack

As I said in title, double exposure is not Blackjack.
It is designed by casinos for clueless tourists. Just because is called double exposure "blackjack" it doesn't mean that it is normal blackjack game.

Double exposure is extremely bad game.
Theoretically it is beatable game, but profit is so "big" that you are better off working as a dish washer.

Secondly, strategies used to beat double exposure are very complex and completely different than the ones used to beat normal blackjack game.
Literature that describes strategies on how to beat double exposure almost doesn't exist.Trying to learn these strategies is pure waste of time.

Double exposure is not the only game that you should avoid. There are lots more bad "blackjack" games.

AVOID
Blackjack games that use CSM's - continuous shuffling machines
Spanish 21 or Spanish "blackjack"
Super Fun Blackjack
No-bust Blackjack
Blackjack games that pay 6:5 for blackjack
Player Banked Blackjack (paying fee based on size of your bet in order to play) these games are not common in USA
, but are common in Germany.

Don't play in Oklahoma. They have an "ante" on each hand based on the amount bet. Supposedly, they return that money to the players in the form of tournaments. The house gets all of the ante. The table wins are split 20% to the State of Oklahoma and 80% back into the player pool.

Bottom line is that this makes the house edge huge on an otherwise satisfactory BJ game (6-deck H17, DOA, DAS 3:2)
