Angry Blackjacks worst losing streaks

I played at the Hyatt and lost $300 considering a unit for me was between $5 and $10 that is a lot! I lost that money in less than 2 hours of play!
I also had a day at boomtown where I losted $300 in one day and I was playing with an advantage! The losing days that I have when I play with an advantage are a lot fewer in number than at the time I was playing with a disadvantage!
What are your biggest one day loses and how big is it to your bankroll?

Well. when i was young and dumb and full of u-know-what, I lost over $1000 easily in one day. Many times. Alot of time I would win it back the next day.

Even now, with my mostly flat-betting, I'm usually ahead by a few hundred on the last day and then start betting 50-100 hand for the heckuva it. It seems usually I lose the $400 and then some

Sounds like $300 is maybe a fair amount of money for ypu. If so, and you're a counter, maybe build up your bankroll. Also, I'd say a unit is a specific number, not a range. What game was it?

I don't know what you're high bet is but I think Wong said losing 20 times your big bet in a day happens. So be prepared for it! And good luck.

So far, my personal bests:

- Six out of seven hands resulting in dealer blackjack (while max betting)
- Losing at five different casinos in a row in one day.
- Losing $700 in five minutes
- A $1300 peak-to-trough losing streak (which I plan on besting soon)

Others have much much better losing stories, though.

But I still think the best winning streak was winning $300 in two shoes of heads-up play while flat-betting $10.

A few months ago I lost $3000 in about 15 minutes.

High count, 10 unit bets. A couple double downs on 11 and pulled aces, etc. Not a fun time, but made it back and way more the next week.

Default Blackjacks worst losing streaks

Got a killer true count of +10 which remained steady for most of last 2 decks of 6D game in Biloxi. At table of $10 players, I bet 10 units ($500) per hand throughout. Pit boss looked like he was about to have a stroke and I actually heard him mouth "card counter" to crony. Hit some crap cards and lost $3500 in 10 minutes - lost all profit from past night's play. Ploppies were looking away like it was a car wreck. Was hard to maintain disciple, but stuck with it, made a few index plays which raised some eyebrows, and won the $3500 back in last 10 minutes of shoe. Cashed in and grabbed a cab before pit boss could arouse security. Had to enjoy a fat cigar in hot tub to calm down.

Default The reason why my units varied.

At the hyatt I played at two tables I started off at a $10 minimum and went down to a $5 minimum I always look for the lowest minimum possible as long as the rules are the same. My personal unit size is always the table minimum. I don't really fill all that comfortable with higher amounts of money being wagered because I can't be all that comfortable if I lose. I also would not feel comfortable wagering someone elses money in case I lose. I don't play for a living it is just a fun hobby for me.

When you have big losing days do you try to get the pit crew to comp you more than when you have big winning days?

My worst was $2600 in one day. I literally could not win ****.

then the next week I lost another $1100.

Then the week was $700 loss.

My bankroll WAS $6125 before that happened.

Through consistent play, however I have gotten about $1200 of that back, but it has been a pain in the ass.

****, i shld probably keep track of how much i blow at casinos. i'd have to ballpark it, but i'd say only about $500 in a day. how do you guys keep your bankroll seperate from your regular money? i tend to always get them mixed up.
