Markers as a payday loan

I was just wondering if anybody else has done this...

I didn't want to touch my casino bankroll but needed some emergency cash, so I pulled a $1500 marker out at a local casino and played for about 15 minutes before I cashed in my chips and left and then deposited the $$ right into my bank account. The money to cover it came in in the meantime so I'm okay.. but I was wondering if I were to do this again if I would get any negative attention.

Most casinos I've been in ask if you have a marker before cashing out your chips.I'm not sure what would happen if you said no and somehow they knew you did.
I believe they would eventually catch on if you regularly took markers and didn't give them much play.
In AC,summer of 2000,I juggled two markers back and forth for several weeks.Taking a marker from The Sands to cover one at Trump,and then reversing it.Maybe six times total,as I was in a real cash bind. There were no repercussions that I ever saw.
Its a slippery slope that one shouldn't tread lightly,but if its an emergancy.....
