Default Monkey!?!

I'm in a casino on a BJ table, and on double downs and/or on dealer's hopefully bust card, people shout out "MONKEY"! Why? What does it mean? Any historical or symbolic meaning?

"Monkey" is an Asian expression for "picture card", carried over from baccarat.

I think they did. Just recently, I was at a table, i called monkey for my double down, got the 10, won; and then immediately a guy sat down at my table. Was it you?!? thanks R, i didnt know it came from baccarat.
