the first three cards

#1
Hello everybody

My name is Ben, from belgium.(enghish not being my mother languange,
my aplogies for the inevitable mistakes I will make in my writing.)

I played only at land based casino's and I do consider trying online
casino. I first though that casino's online where definitely "cheating"
customers. after reading ken smith's advises, I came to the conclusion
that I might wrong and that big names are fair casino's

Now the reson of my posting

With the impossibility to count due to the casino reshuffling cards
after each game, I'm conviced that nobody can teach much about
blackjack strategies except with a completely new approach. eventhough
I'm not finished my entire work (long hours of working), let me give
you a taste of that approach

when the dealer has finished giving the three first cards, that is
two for you and one for himself, the "GAME IS OVER" to me. you will then
have to finish you hand by deciding whether you stand or hit, and that
you do through your strategy charts (I agree with the strategy published
on this site except that I don't split aces front of an ace) but that's
a detail.

you actually have 252 possibilities for three cards and that mean's
252 different pecentages depending only on the three first card only.

for example

you of course like a ten to marry an ace for blackjack 3 to 2 pay

convention I will use the number "11" instead of the term ACE in what is following

the dealer give three card: 11-10-6

three possibilities

you get 10-6 the dealer get the 11. that is -56% against you
you get 11-10 6. that's 150% for you
you get 11-6 10. -35 against you

total of these percentages -56-35+150 = 109%

and you will divide this by 3 to actually get your global percentages
when the dealer give these three card WHICHEVER POSITION the cards
actually landed

and that is 109/3 36,33333 let say 36%

but whatch this

the dealer give three card: 4-5-6. these little cards blackjack players don't like
in all the books i have read

you get 4-5 the dealer gets 6. that is 32% for you
you get 5-6 the dealer gets 4. that is 56% for you
you get 4-6 the dealer gets 5. that is 51% for you

32+56+51 = 139/3 46.3333 for you

(yes you where in a position to double wathever the position of these three cards

now something you really don't like

9-7-7 .I won't go into details but you are 41% down

I'm not finished with my computer work and though I already have done
the 252 situation i disagreed with my measure for reason I won't explain
here. But I'm about to redo the work.

just for your fun take real cards and try these other situations moving
the cards one by one to see the actual "THREE" possibilities

11-10-10 (that a classic you all view at once)

6-5-5
6-6-6
7-7-4
7-4-4

and you will start loving the little cards you've hated during all these years
and start looking at blackjack a totally different way.

and of course there are bad news like
10-2-3
10-10-6

I just wanted to share a bit of knowledge

best regars to all of you
