Texas Hold 'Em Help

This is probably the only type of card playing I do outside the casino's, although I've joined tables from time to time with little luck. Playing with my buddies though, I've picked up my game quite a bit. My somewhat generous co-worker at UMVD where I work let me borrow these Ultimate Poker DVDs with Vince Van Patten, the poker pro, and his tips and tricks were actually pretty useful.

Plus, unlike other books and videos that I've seen, someone of any skill can benefit. I mean, I'm near beginner status, and my co-worker, who took the table 3 Thursdays in a row, says they still help him. I recommend it, anyone else familiar with Van Patten or the DVDs?
