WILTON – The premise presented by several civil engineers in the documentary “Improbable Collapse: The Demolition of Our Republic” is that the World Trade Center towers and Building 7 could not have collapsed as they did simply from the impact of the airplanes or the heat of the fires.

They had been constructed to withstand such events. The collapse only could have been caused by a controlled, planned implosion, they said, such as those frequently used to take down buildings.

With the WTC, the issue is not so much that a building collapsed - its that THREE buildings collapsed in perfect footprint non-resistance freefall manner ON THE SAME DAY, and yet much worse fires have NEVER BEFORE brought down a steel skyscraper. That alone is a bizzare statistically remote anomoly.

Comment: Debunkers are already using this to attack the 9/11 truth movement in claiming that this explains the collapse of the towers and WTC 7. Syndicated radio host Neil Boortz attacked Alex Jones this morning, claiming that this refutes the controlled demolition hypothesis. In reality, the freeway collapse is completely different and the comparison is ridiculous.

I can already hear defenders of the official account screaming "See, fire can cause a steel structure to collapse-the bridge collapsed!"
Comparing the circumstances surrounding the fire and subsequent partial collapse of this bridge to the circumstances surrounding the fires and subsequent complete collapse of the towers and WTC 7 is flawed from end to end. This fact should be obvious to most people; but let's point out a few things just in case they weren't already noticed.

1. This was an open air environment where flames were able to reach their absolute maximum temperature; white-hot and shooting upwards of 200 feet in the air.

Recently, some intrepid Truthers (are there any other kind?) cornered Senator Swiftboat himself and asked John kerry about the sudden collapse of WTC-7, that 47 story US government building never mentioned in the Kean Commission Report. Was it a controlled demolition, these Truthers asked?

"Well that's a new one to me," Said Kerry. "I do know that that wall, I remember, was in danger and I think they made the decision based on the danger that it had in destroying other things-- that they did it in a controlled fashion..But I'll check on the story-- I'll take a look at it based on what you've said. Really, Senator Kerry? First people? The first people to mention to you, sir, a controlled demotion may have occured at the WTC more than five years? The first people anywhere in the country? Never heard any of your constituents in Massachusetts ask you about inconsistencies, and whether 911 might be an inside job?

Eyewitness Inside WTC 7 Reported Explosions Before Collapse

An eyewitness who evacuated WTC 7 before its collapse reported an explosion inside the building, before exiting via the lobby which had been almost completely destroyed - before either of the twin towers had collapsed nearly 400 yards away in the WTC complex.

This testimony severely undermines the flawed explanation that Building 7 collapsed as a result of the damage it sustained following the collapse of the towers, since the structure was seemingly being gutted by explosives prior to 9:59AM.
