Both the Gulf Coast and Tunica have some decent game choices, particularly double decks.
In Tunica, check out Fitzgerald's.
In Biloxi, try Beau Rivage.

Anybody here play in any of the MS based casinos? I have played on the coast before but mostly I play in Tunica.
Yes, I play the double deck pitch games at Tunica, and at Pearl River near Philadelthia Miss. where they stand on solft 17.

It seems to me that "good" bj games are getting harder and harder to find in Tunica. There are a few double deck games that are profitable. However, I've been seeing more and more 6:5 single deck games and more and more 8 deck shoe games. I'm wondering when the remaining casinos will follow.

Which casinos?

Which casinos do you mostly play at in Tunica? Stay away from the 6:5 SD. Where have you seen the 8 deck shoes? Still playing 6 deck shoes at Isle of Capri in Lula and Fitz in Tunica.

Horseshoe and Sheraton have gone to 8 deck shoes. I'm not sure about Grand, but I figure they will since Harrah's aquired them a few months back. Those are the only one's that I know for certain, but I wouldn't be surprised if some of the others followed. I know that Sheraton and Grand single deck now pays 6:5. I wonder if Horseshoe has plans for their single deck as well. I've heard some negative feedback on Horseshoe lately since Harrah's took over, but it hasn't seemed to slow play any. It is still just a crowded as ever.

Right now it seems that Fitz has overall the best variety of games. However, it seems like each time I travel to Tunica that there are fewer and fewer good games to choose from. Yes, there are many games that are still profitable, but they are getting tighter and tighter.

Thanks for the info. I haven't played at very many of the Harrah's properties in Tunica. I recently went to Las Vegas for 3 days and played at Rio which is also Harrah's. I'm half way to a platinum card already! Maybe I should put some points on the card in Tunica. It's just that I have limited time to play when I pass through. Although last weekend's 1 hr. stop did yield a $400 profit. (Fitz)
