Default :( Getting my a$$ kicked at Blackjack! Help!

So yeah, I'm pretty new to online Blackjack but so far I've lost £150! I've been playing on the LittlewoodsCasino and WilliamHill websites because they offer UK pounds.

But 3 times I've started off with £50, moved up to £100-120 and then back down to nothing! What the hecks going on? I mean how do people play this system? Is there a way? I mean I gave up Online Poker because it was too fast and complex but I can't get anywhere in this!

Strangely enough, the first time I played Online Blackjack, I was given a £50 CASH bonus, and I got as far as £290! Eventually I ended at £210. But I can't get anywhere like that since...

I do favour the Littlewoods and William Hill websites because they use the WagerLogic system which is easy to understand and clearly designed, but sometimes I think it's rigged.

I need lots of help, especially with recommending some good [UK sterling based] Blackjack websites.

2deal2,

Why haven't you quit when you are £100-£120 ahead each session? 100+% profit is good and much more than probability would predict. Do you really expect to be able to keep winning and beat the casino? You are certain to lose eventually if you keep playing. The longer you keep playing the more certain that is. Do you set yourself win targets?

your intuition is right. Internet blackjack games are rigged.

The only way to make money on-line is by taking advantage of the bonuses. You don't have to be blatant about it by cashing out as soon as you've hit the wagering requirement, though. After my first month of playing on-line, I was ahead quite a bit, mostly because of bonuses but I was also ahead just from playing. I do not believe they're rigged. I kept track of wins and losses for a long time and the percentages came out to what should be expected.

Just remember, on-line blackjack should be played for the free money. Anything you might win is just icing on the cake.

I highly doubt online blackjack is rigged contrary to what a lot of people on this site believe. There might be a couple sites out there that 'cheat' but they are very few. If you're going to get screwed over by an online casino its more likely that you'll have trouble withdrawing your money especially if they think you play for bonuses, in fact there are more than just a few casinos out there that have gotten a bad rap for doing this. I'd like to get Ken's opinion on this as I know he's played a lot of online blackjack (which makes me think he doesn't think its rigged). Why would a casino have to rig its games to win an extra couple bucks from you when the game itself is already designed to favour the dealer even with correct play. I've played some online blackjack myself, mostly to take advantage of bonuses, and though I sometimes have terrible losing streaks the exact same thing happens at the land based casinos, even worse, sometimes when the count is high! This doesn't make me think the land based casinos are rigging their games as well, its just the random way the cards fall. Though a losing streak is slightly more probable than a winning streak of equal length (this is only because the odds of the game already favour the dealer so of course a winning streak would also favour the dealer) we all go on winning streaks from time to time but forget about them easily and only remember the losing streaks we go on.
