Going to be in AC July 20-22
I know that the wrong time to go during the wk end but.......
Whats the "best" casino to play at?
What about parking? I am staying with my gf and her brother and wife in egg harbor, I will be doing the "late night shift" And was curious about parking and if there were any shuttles from eggharbor to AC.
Also the probably the most important, I have heard yrs, and yrs ago stay on the strip no matter what How bad is it there at night? I don't want to get rolled, I can handle my own, but not if I get jumped by 3-4 people, I am no Bruce Lee

AC is a zoo in the summer on the weekends. Best game at Borgata - all 6 deck.
Resorts has a few 6 deck tables with $25 (and up) min. High roller pits (mostly $100 and up) also 6 deck other places. Otherwise all 8 deck. Watch out for a few houses (Ballys, for example) with H17. Most places are S17. All the hotels have parking garages - some free, if you have a player's card (Total Rewards, etc,) some $5.
I'm not aware of a shuttle from Egg Harbor. Once in AC, you can walk the boardwalk (safe, but there are some beggars, etc. roaming around.) It's better than it used to be as some slums a block or two in from the boardwalk are gone and replaced with shopping. Borgata is in the Marina area and you will need transporation. Take a Jitney for $2 or a taxi.

If you stick to the popular tourist areas,it is quite safe.
I've walked all over town late at night and only once felt uncomfortable. It was around 3Am on a backstreet in mid winter.

I believe Bally's is still S17 in the main casino, but in the Wild Wild West they are H17 except on the Lucky Ladies tables. Showboat is the same way. You have to really look before you sit down.

Note: Taxi from Borgata to Caesars will cost around $12. Jitney is $2; but you have to know where it picks up/ drops off. To get $5 off at the Borgata, you must be "Black Label" status to get free parking; which required playing, or, if you have premium card at another casino, you can get "black label" from Borgata.

Not odd. New Years 2006 and 2007; Harrahs properties' Ceasars, Wild West, Ballys (close to cigar booth and cage), and Claridge (ground floor) had several hit s17 tables at their 15, 25, and few 50 limits. All $100+ tables had stand s17. Of course, they periodically change the cloths of the tables at their discretion; but i have avoided them

Many,if not most, casinos have a variety of games, with different rules within the same casino.Only odd thing is a guy with your experiance not knowing this.
