Starting Friday, our six deck shoes will be cut at 85% pen. Their procedures for advantage players is the best I know of. When they suspect you, the floorman watches your play and after some time calls a shift boss to take over and the shift boss then observes your bet spread and notates mistakes in play, like raising your bet on negative counts to try and throw them off and they calculate what kind of odds you have with your bet spread and mistakes and see if you’re a threat. If you make more than 2 mistakes in an hour, they will not back you off.

6D H17, no thanks but i'm going to vegas in two weeks, so i can check pen just for fun.

um, 6d with 85% pen is going to be better than almost any double or single deck game you're going to find. Unless you can spread 1-10 and back-count a single deck game.

i routinely play a 6D H17 game with 80% or better pen that has LS. which is a superior game. 2 dealers i play with give 86%

H17 6D ~ 0.64 house edge
H17 6D LS ~ 0.54 house edge

This might have been a short-lived experiment, but paranoia apparently got the best of them. As of two days ago, most dealers were cutting off nearly two decks off the six deckers and a whole deck off the double decks. Back to the usual unplayable garbage.
