Pentagon Confirms It Sought To Build A 'Gay Bomb'

(CBS 5) BERKELEY A Berkeley watchdog organization that tracks military spending said it uncovered a strange U.S. military proposal to create a hormone bomb that could purportedly turn enemy soldiers into homosexuals and make them more interested in sex than fighting.

Pentagon officials on Friday confirmed to CBS 5 that military leaders had considered, and then subsequently rejected, building the so-called "Gay Bomb."

What these gays do in the privacy of their own homes, bathhouses, public parks, etc. should not be of my concern. For that matter, what child molesters do in the deep dark secret confines of their own homes, public parks, public schools, hospitals, etc. should not be of any of my concern either. Nah.

And the spreading of their AIDS should not be of any of my concern either.

Did you know that homosexuality is not considered a sin by the Christian faith? What I'm referring to is the sexual attraction of a person to a person of the same sex. So who can help feelings? For example, who can help having suicidal feelings-no one wants to feel suicidal. But "homosexual sex is" an abomination; an intrinsically evil behavior. Similar to suicide, the only victims are the persons themselves. We always say that we don't think acquaintances who committed suicide were in their right minds. What we are saying is that we hope they were not fully cognizant of the gravity of their act. The same is true of homosexuals. There is so much literature designed to relieve them of their guilt feelings when they engage in homosexual acts, that I hope they are simply not fully cognizant of the gravity of their behavior. That in itself, I would think, softens or possibly even absolves them of their moral culpability. But suicidal feelings don't make a person kill themselves (unless they're insane) and homosexual feelings don't make a person engage in homosexual acts (although it may be very difficult to practice self control). Religion can play a key and constructive role in offering compassionate understanding and God's forgiveness for human shortcomings.
