Default Doubling Down on any three cards.

I'll be hitting a casino that has this rule this weekend.
I haven't found any charts anywhere,so I'm guessing BS would be the same for DD on any two cards. Am I correct?
Only drawback to the game is its six decks with so-so penetration and they cut from one to ten cards out unseen before dealing.

I forgot about this rule while I was playing there (talking about the Longhorn on the Boulder strip?), although I think I may have only missed one occasion where it would have come in handy.

it doesn't come up often, but they also allow splitting A's to three hands, so Shadroch don't forget that one either!

though the opportunities don't come up often, they still take off about 0.2 or more of the house edge.....

They don't come up very often?

I guess you guys don't double three card 16s?
Doubling a 3 card 16 for less is better than trick drill.

Actually, no, BS changes very subtly to take into account that the 3rd card might get you a hand you'd want to double on even more. For example, in a S17 game you draw on A2 vs. 5 and A2 vs. 6 when you can double on 3 cards.

Is your game S17 or H17?

They are now!

S17 or H17, DA3, DOA, 6D-

Basic Strategy changes are: Hit instead of DD on:
A2 vs. 5
A2 vs. 6
A4 vs. 4

Thanks. I searched several trainers but none had a DD on 3 option.

Default Double down on 3 cards

Never double down on 8 even against a 6 on a hit soft 17 game. Plus I would also severly limit doubling down on 9 as well I would only do it against a 5,6. I also would never double down on A-2 or A-3.
