Arrow Ever beaten by a Dealer's ridiculous run of cards?

Does anyone else have any stories of ridiculous runs of cards?

You know if you've played an Internet Casino and the dealer pulls out FOUR BJs in a row or let's you get a spilt that could give you a high amount AND just happens to match up it's cards for a push? That sort of thing.

If it's even happened at a Real casino, let me know!

Is it cheating or just plain bad luck...?

I'd say "bad luck". This past weekend, I left a table after the dealer drew three naturals in a row. That wasn't the only reason, but it was a good excuse.

A couple of nights earlier, I was playing in Kansas City and a dealer there drew a 20 and two 21's at the end of a shoe (6-deck). When she started the next shoe, she drew three 21's in a row (not BJs, but multicard 21's).

Those things do happen in Brick and Mortar.

This past weekend I was at a casino in Wisconsin. Sunday morning I played for a while. Overall I did ok but there was one stretch where I got 8 straight 20's. All 8, the dealer had a bust card up and hit to a 21. There were 2 hands where if they stood on Soft 17, I would've won but that's the closest I came to winning.

If you play often and long enough, you'll see some
ridiculous runs. Both from players and dealers.I think I went about twenty hands in a row once getting nothing but 10-2s and 10-3s but managed to win the vast majority. Then I started pulling multiple 10-10s but ended up pushing most.
I've had three BJs in a row several times, but never had a fourth.

Sam here, had 3 Bjs in a row a good number of times but never 4... weird. Getting screwed on 20s and 21s with pushes or bad beats is so common it's hardly worth mentioning.

One of my worst runs in recent history landed me on all 17s-20s for 9 straight hands, 9 straight hands I lost by exactly 1 point. Dealer really had my number on that streak.

Several weeks ago, I played through my ENTIRE ACCUMULATED ROLL in a lazy Sunday afternoon. The dealer had 17, 18, 19, 20 or 21 EVERY SINGLE HAND. Yup, she didn't have to draw ONCE to make a hand, and she never busted.

Why I didn't run away screaming I'll never know. Instead, I walked out with no money in my pocket, shell shocked, nodding my head in disbelief.

Also a reason I have been less active on the board lately. Painful to talk about a little 21 when I can't go play at the moment. Grrrr...

But FWIW I am reading BlackJack Bluebook II for a second time, and getting going on the KO system. My Palm Pilot trainer software from Deep Net is sweet.

I know exactly how u feel!! Also went to the casino few weeks ago with about $200 money i got from workin on a car, anyways sat at the $5 table and just flat betted until the count went up. Soon enough i had recouped some losses and then some. But 2 dealers later count hardly ever went passed 1 and got dealt hard 16's 7 times in a row, all but one lost to the dealer. The 3 bj's i got low and behold so did the dealer. I get a 20 the dealer gets a 7 card 21. Was in a very bad flux. Next thing u know im down to my last $50, decided to play it out see if the count would go up. Nope kept losing by 1 point to the dealer to the very end. Keep in mind I flat betted 1 unit unless the count went up then betted accordingly. I was devastated and felt like I was cheated. And was also shellshoked. Felt like there is no way this could be a normal flux. Guess ill have to hit them harder next time.

Maybe we should try to talk one of the Indian Casinos into giving that a try (you know which one I'm thinking of <LOL> I'll give you a hint...it sounds a lot like Cow!) Shouldn't bother them. They're going to win the ante no mater what!
