Depends alot on the game and your bet ramp.

Why even care about the bitching when u alter BS?

Some of the ploppies take personal offense to this. I've been told that I messed up the shoe one too many times. I'm just curious if anyone knows the impact over time.

Try playing at less crowded times of day, if possible. Try also to get some rapport going with the ploppies if you have to endure their presence. For example, when that infrequent index play comes around ask their advice and if you take it and they lose, you have a good reason next time to play your "hunch" that it might be time to make an "incorrect" play. Also, a lot of the index plays relate to doubling so usually nobody cares what you do then, it's all on you. Numerous ploppies double incorrectly anyway.

Remember that the ploppies can eat a lot of the bad cards for you when you wong out to the bathroom.

So what u gonna do - sacriice advantage because some old guy is gonna say something?

If you are willing to do this, stop counting.

But, as a wild guess, without knowing the details, if u want to lose your money 5-10% faster, go ahead. Would losing it 1% faster make it acceptable?

For me, that's my favorite part of deviating from BS, even with my small bet. They get so mad sometimes they leave. I love it. Especially at 3rd base, especially when someone else has a big bet out.

I had to signal 5 times to hit my 12 vs 5. I won. Everybody else didn't. My money, my play.

Oh like maybe when the TC is +12 and the dealer has a 5. Something like that.

Focus more on your game with numbers play and less on what other people think. Its vice versa so to speak. You can tell them that they are inbread jeds as they call you a whatever. Pull out your wad and they will respect.
