Here's my worthless opinion. Never played Turning stone.

Salamanca and Niagara are the same and suck equally.

Play them for entertainment, have fun, and drink alot since it'll cost u more to go to a movie and buy popcorn and a coke.

When did they start giving free drinks away at turning stone?
As far as i recall, they still DO NOT have liquor license and do not serve drinks. TS is probably thinking about it for the future; check "their website"/info/alcohol.pdf

Turning Stone

8 decks at TS (as of my last visit about a month ago) have about 65% pen from a notch (though a few dealers ignore the notch and give you the one-deck cutoff all the dealers used to); standard rules - S17, double any two, DAS, only one card on split aces, no surrender. Spreading to multiple hands allowed. Minimums are $15 and $25 in the regular pits (I've never played the high roller pit, but noticed $200 min. DD and 6D on a walk-by last time I was there). No alcohol served on premises. Never had any heat, but with the lousy pen they now give, they don't need it. In my view, not worth making a trip from any appreciable distance; certainly not if better games are available to you.

are you in that part of the state near N Falls or Salamanca ?:)
I'm in PA so I'm closer to Salamanca.

Also I heard if u buy gas on Indian land there's no federal tax so u save maybe 30 cents/gal.

Now there's a comp :)

I also actually got food comps playing BJ in Salamanca which basically never happens to me in AC.

Food comps in salamanca

They are easy to get BJ but harder on slots although I have built up $513 in comp money along with 3 free nights of rooms and comcert tickets as well . The gas is about $.30 cents cheaper and cigs are like $18.00 to $25.00 cheaper as well and i always buy like 20 cartons when i go up so that is a huge win in itself !!!!!!!! I live outside of cleveland and go up once a week or so . I play 8d only and use BS only but am trying to learn card counting as well .:)

Hey - thanks for the cigarette tip! Makes sense but never thought of it.

I spent a night at the new hotel in May and it was very nice. They wouldn't serve me double-vodkas on the rocks so I had to order a lot of singles. Turns out, there's actually vodka in it because I got drunk as a skunk lol. Spent my winnings on a kobe steak - small but good. Excellent soup and sandwich the next day.

The only bad thing that happened was when they made my wife pay extra at a $10 table AFTER she lost the hand with a $5 bet (limits had recently changed) that the dealer didn't catch at the beginning of the round. They explained, if she had won, they would have paid her extra. I was born at night but not last night lol.

OK - the other bad thing was she started playing 3-card poker :)

So just how bad is it being a Browns fan? - I'd think I'd want out of town alot more often than that

kasi and being a browns fan

Being a browns fan is wonderful I would assume . I bet with My wallet not with my heart . They will be maybe 6-10 this year and maybe 6-10 the next year . They are terrible but then again the rest of the division is weak as well . I am an outstanding handicapper on football and have not had a losing season in probably 15 years . BROADSTREET SMOKES is the cheapest play in town on cigs . It is the last store on the main drag in a plaza right after the light on the right side. It is next to a restaurant- that sucks - and ask for Justin or PJ and tell them I sent you and they will take care of you on cigs - big time !!!!! The exact address is 693 broad street and it is only like 2 minutes from the casino if that .:)

kasi on the browns

The browns will make the bowl this year !!!! The toilet bowl that is . The browns are so far away from a play off even it is a joke let alone getting to a super bowl . Ohio state is going nowhere this year as well although their schedule is not all that strong . Michigan will win the big game this year and big - by at least 10 points but check back for a better update on that once the season starts if you wish .

I wouldn't write OSU off just yet. Their defense is awesome, with Lauranitis at linebacker, and Jenkins at corner, both of whom are future first rounders. Their turnover ratio last year was incredible. They have a great running game, and if they can get an efficient quarterback (someone who doesn't throw picks) they should be contenders.

BTW, did you see Michigan in their bowl game against USC? They literally could not run the ball all game, and their supposedly dazzling secondary got lit up.

ny casinos

I don't the indian casinos are that bad the rules are playable and really no heat at the tables. You do need a 1-10 , 1-12, spread to beat the house. The profit index indicates you should only play with two or none other players at the table for it to be a good game. The table min. are going up at salamanca all the time. You show up early and they load up quick leaving only 15 min tables left. blackchipjim

true moo

But the quarterback situation is very bleak and they will be heavily favored so they may be a great team bet against . Time will tell shortly if a QB steps up and can learn the system as well .:)

tables filling up

is fine as I play the green or double green minimum tables anyway . Their food is great as well as their buffet but I wonder with WV voting in table games will they lose much business ? I do not think so cause the Mountaineer outfit owns the slotcinos in Pittsburgh and erie and people are already complaining about them - as if we did not expect that !!!!!

Your right they don’t have a liquor license but they are in the processes of trying to obtain one because of their new "club" they are opening......as far as the drinks the ladies carry around those are free but its just soda and coffee.
