Recommended Casinos
I'm planning a last minute trip to Vegas and I wonder if someone could recommend a few casinos with low minimums ($5) and the chance for good penetration, preferably 1 or 2 deck.
Thanks

On or near the strip you have Slots of Fun(next to Circus Circus) and Wild Wild West(two long blocks west of NYNY).
Downtown you have El Cortez,Western, and The Plaza
Off-strip,you have a few more-Fiesta,Stations,Terribles.
They are not the greatest of games for the most part, but the best you'll find at low limits.

Isn't that a pretty shitty game? An LVA member told me there was bad rules compared to EC.

The single deck has the same rules as the EC. DD isn't as good as EC. I liked the SD at four queens better because it was a lot easier getting heads up play or 3 or fewer at table. Both times I went blackjack switch tables were really crowded people even waiting to play. DD tables with crappier rules were crowded. I am not a regular player in Vegas, so these observations are only from a couple of visits.

My next trip,I have a free dinner at Hugos coming so I'll check out the games there. Haven't played there in awhile and don't like to promote games I don't play myself.
I was also told that table minimums were $10 except for some early morning $5 tables.
Thanks for the heads-up.

Four Queens single deck is a scam - do not play
The single deck has the same rules as the EC. DD isn't as good as EC. I liked the SD at four queens better because it was a lot easier getting heads up play or 3 or fewer at table.
The Four Queens single deck is a scam. It is the only casino in Nevada to have the audacity to use a cut card on a single deck game. Previous comments:
Let’s hope Mr. Caudill instructs his managers to take out the garbage 6 to 5 blackjack from Binion’s; install some real games, not sweat the money as much as Four Queens does, and offer patrons reasonable value like most of downtown Las Vegas used to do. And if single deck is offered, don’t make it the sleazy, sneaky version with a cut card. This takes unreasonable, unfair advantage of patrons not familiar with the cut card effect.

Do not play the sleazy ripoff Four Queens single deck games.

Wouldn't playing a cut card game with an empty table be better than playing a SD without a cut card game with same rules, but a crowded table?

Heads up on grave, or with one-two other players, 4Q 1D IS playable because you can jump to two hands mid deck when the card hasn't come out. And, they have that side bet that turns positive when the deck is real negative. zg
