mohegan report
it's bad. The pen kills everything. Cuts of less than 70% were a rarity. the average pen imo was about 65%. They have many 6D, some 8D, late surrender, and standard rules. I played for about 15 hours before being backed off. I asked for it. Since I knew this was a one time stop, I was overly aggressive and was spreading 20 to 1 at times on $25. They gave me a room for $59. I paid for that and food with comps, but when i was reduced to table minimum, my remaining points were frozen. I would recommend to spend your points continuously since they may be frozen at any time.
Additionally, I strongly felt like dealers in the high roller room in the Earth casino were cheating by clumping the tens. four shoes in a row got to a +15 to +25 range and ended very close to that. I left soon after that 4th shoe because it was so strange. I tried to shuffle track and noticed that she kept putting the remaining cards (the high ones) towards the top of shoe and then shuffling accordingly. I'm curious if anyone who's played in that room has noticed anything similar.

Told you. I'm surprised you were backed off that quickly though. It took them a few hundred hours to get to me. But I had a similar problem with my comps.

No, no one who deals there has the skill to sleight or to manipulate cards through the shuffle. Those dealers are just the cheapest people they could find. Besides, that is not the way to cheat on a shuffle. The dealer doesn't know where the cut card is going to be placed; a skilled player could just as easily cut all those high cards back into play. The only way to do something like that is with a false cut, which you would have noticed.
What were you doing in the high limit room? That probably explains the backoff.

If the count was that high are you sure you weren't at a Spanish 21 table? Or is it possible they pulled some tens out?

With 65% penetration I'm not surprised that most of the high cards were behind the cut card.

I was definitely not playing spanish 21. I don't really know why i was in the high roller room, it was a dumb decision, but i really didn't care about getting caught since their game sucks.
You're probably right and it was just a coincidence. It just seemed very very odd at the time. Can you explain what a false cut is? I assume you just mean the dealer refuses to accept the actual cut by the player.

AM, what were you spreading that allowed you to last that long?
I was spreading 20 to 1 at one point.

A false cut is when the dealer puts the two halves of the deck or shoe right back where they were before you cut. If you're not paying attention you won't notice, but being you were doing some visual shuffle tracking you would notice.

Could have been a short shoe, also. That would be consistent with the high counts at the end of the shoe.
