moon phase betting

I was sitting next to a chap recently at a table and during the normal conversation betting schemes came up. I was curious as to the theory and just what it involved. I geuss he would really use the system in correlation to phases of the moon and tide charts. I thought this guy was pulling my chain and just discounted what he said, but he was winning. To the best of me he was not counting or he had a count system I couldn't tag. He played long enough for me to get a rough idea of what he doing. I know this is funny as it gets but has anyone or does anyone use moon phases as a gauge to play? blackchipjim

There is a guy I run into at happy hour at Deju Vu who charts his bio-rythmns and swears he only plays during certain cycles. I've never seen him actually play so I have no idea if it works.

this type of blackjack strategy reminds me of a public radio broadcast program i was listening to a while back. it was about the stock market, financial advisers and picking stocks. anyway the guy on the program made a point that a study had been done that showed that a guy who chose stocks by throwing darts at a dart board would do just as well as these high priced financial guruhs that people pay to pick stocks for them.
i suppose it works that way for the stock market as it is a long term positive ev game overall. however with blackjack such a system would only work if you was making those plays when the game was in a positive count. and then you'd still need to be careful not to overbet

When the moon phase, stars and the thrown chicken bones all say that it is a bad time for you to play blackjack there is a method to reverse this bad vibe but you need the help of a friendly dealer. You must circle the pit counter clockwise three times walking backwards while the dealer rotates the shoe clockwise three times.
In a pitch game you do not need the dealers help but in order to bypass their being a shoe to rotate, you must do your backward circling of the pit while your shoelaces are tied together, causing you to hop your way backwards.

Then you must get a game with great pen and good rules and positive variance.
Almost forgot: You must sacrifice a chicken before entering the casino also.
Let me know your results.

I always thought the best use of chickens was for invoking the Overnight Reset Effect. You know, the one that prevents many short-term sessions from eventually adding up to the long run. It's how people who quit while they're ahead know when it's safe to go back and play some more. :joker:

I think we are giving away too many secrets. Soon when you are spotted hoping backwards in a casino, before even playing a hand, the casino will back you off.

phase betting

As chance would happen I ran into the gentleman who was the subject of this thread. Upon talking further into this subject he further explained that his game is based more on energy channelling with regards to how his numbers fall. The days he gambles are on his good days for his numbers and stars alignment. I know we have cycles of sleep and such that dictate how our brains function. He told me to get some books on numerology and do the math. I did happen to have a book on dreams and started to look up what he was talking about. I don't believe in this sort of venue but non the less will study it further. blackchipjim
