Default No Card Counting - Macau, Asia

Hello comrades,

For those in the states (or elseware) who want to go to have some actions in Macau, forget it. They shuffle all cards after each hand! And same everywhere in town.

They are using an electric shuffler 'one2six' to do the job.

I ended up playing BS and left the tables during a positive swing.

I am living in Hong Kong. Any good choices around in Asia except Macau?

You're right about Macau!

South Korea. There are several government-run joints there, and there is no risk of heat. I used a 1-60 spread across two spots with no problems whatsoever. 6D DOA DAS LSR, IIRC

Philippines. I think there are four casinos in Manilla. They burn a card each round before the dealer takes his hit cards, but the pen is generally deep enough that you can overcome this. Again, wild spreads didn't attract much attention.

Hope this helps.

I plan to visit Phillippines next month for practising card counting.
Do you want to join me?

Default Expensive Practise

Hello there,

You will need to have A LOT OF PRACTISE before you go. You may want to get the CVBJ (I have my practise on it) and practise and practice before you go.

It will be VERY EXPENSIVE to learn card counting in the real world.

Our friends in the states are the lucky ones - even if they lose they still have the 'comp' and can live and eat like a king. Not for us mate.

I am not coming with you.... I just paid my tax.

BRgds,
Andy McNab

Default Hi Friend

Hello everybody, I am a programmer living in Hong Kong and I just recap my card counting technique when I was young since Wynn and Golden Princess opened in Macau. I was thinking whether it's feasible now to use the technique. However, as you said, they employ CSM for reshuffle every hand. Originally I plan to embed the card counting program into my mobile connecting to a bluetooth earphone for confirming the counting that made inside my key press in pocket. I dont actually need to use my memory through this method. For example, if the cards used in previous hand is A, K, J, 10, 9, 8, 8, 2 . Then my input will be 1130192812, guess what i mean ?
one A, three "10" / "0", one 9, two 8, and one 2. During the decision making, if the banker has 8, and I have 10, 7 , I will input 807 and let the program decide for me. All these results will be heard in my earphone. Howz your analysis ? which casinos do not use CSM in Asia being closest to Hong Kong ? We can be partners for synchronizing our data during the game since there may be input errors.

Default just a guess, but the earpiece

sounds like playing with fire to me. That's illegal I thought. Using electronic devices to help is probably got some pretty serious consequences. You better look that up before you try.

Many people like to use earphone for conversations. If we dont use earphone, we need to look at our mobiles explicitly. Any suggestion ? You guys all use your own memory and do manual calculations ?

Actually we dont even need a bluetooth earphone, we use a headphone as if we are listening to songs. When there is a check required, simply switch your program mode to songs !

Default law

I'm not sure of the laws where you are going to play, but I can't imagine that you are allowed to use ANY electronic device to help with card playing. I know you are trying to be covert with it, but I'm pretty sure the risks outway the rewards on that one. Where I play, we have to leave the table if we talk on the phone, and we are not allowed to listen to headphones while playing. The casino just won't allow it.

Yes, and I believe I can speak for a lot of people here if not all the serious APs, we do the calculations in our head and use our memories for counts and playing decisions.

Again, I suggest looking up the laws of the area, but I'm pretty sure it illegal to do what you are suggesting.

How strict the discipline is ! it looks like the examination ..!
I suppose the "illegal" you mean is just the rule by casino but not by the government right ?

I havent gone through other posts here. If not use any device, can we use paper or the coins ? May I know your adopted card counting technique ? Do you need to memorize all thrown cards ? Or just particular numbers of cards ? If the accurancy is lowered, does it seriously affect your decision making ? I think it's really tough for memorization and precise calculation, when you are getting tired.
