Default Room Comps

Will be in LV in Sept. for a Sunday-Thurs strictly gambling. Wondering if trying to hustle a room comp is worth it, seems you can find them for $35 a day downtown. I want to spend as much time searching for 'favourable' dealers as possible and playing the highest advantage I can find. Is there places that'll give me a room just for sending $X amount of money for an account at that casino? or is everything contingent upon time at the tables in the casino. I think I'd like to spend my time looking for a higher advantage then grinding out enough at one table to get a free room. Going with a buddy so even considered making a few hedge bets between us in craps to try and get a room quickly and spend the rest of the time looking for games. Thoughts?
Thanks,
BW

Buy an American Casino Guide. In it you'll find coupons for two nites at El Cortez for $30(total).,and similar deals for Binions and a few other places.
Numerous 2-4-1 buffets and a number of matchplays ,as well.

At the casinos in Miss. on the morning we leave, before check-out, I simply go visit the casino host and ask for help on my rooms. They simply swipe my players card and have always discounted my room rate or comped it completely. I would think this would work in LV too. I will be finding out myself in November, I have a trip to LV already booked.
