Best BJ 4/6 deck game on the Strip
SO here goes my first thread, I am going to vegas for 5 days ont he 29th of august and was hoping someone could inform me of the best games for 4 deck or 6 deck blackjack. By "best games" i mainly mean, haveing the best penetration and least amount of floor watching. I dont really want to be forced to camouflage. I am going with girls and guys so i think camo isnt a big deal but dont really wanna worry about it. ANything helps. I will be staying at the Venetian and this is my first visit to Vegas so a specific location would help be nice. Please anything will help
Thanks

I don't know of any 4-deck games in Vegas. I played one in Searchlight but it's probably not worth the drive.
For 6-deckers on the strip I would suggest MGM, Luxor and Mandalay Bay. And make sure you know how to surrender. It's a great option that will save your a$$. Try to look for S17 tables as some casinos offer both. You can pretty much get away with anything at the bigger places if your max bet is around $100 or less. Bets of $200 or less might require a little "finesse" or a hit-and-run style but nothing much. They sweat the DD games pretty hard but the shoes are fair game, especially if you can find a good pit (busy enough, lots of bigger action, table fills, shift changes, everyone getting rated, etc.). If you go in the mornings you can usually find $5 tables, and even during peak hours they will have some $10 minimums available.
The strip is also good if you’re going with a bunch of friends. You can park them at a good table and float around the casino for hours on end without getting much heat (if you don’t get too familiar in any particular pit). Then come back and meet up with your buddies later. Or you can even blatantly backcount their table while having fun and getting free drinks if that’s more your style.

Sonny:
What about coming in with 2 x 75 or 2 x $100 bets on those 6D shoes you metioned? Would that be viewed as too high a bet level?
I was able to convince a PB recently that 2 x $75 was a reasonable alternative to 1 x $100. He wanted me to bleed as many 1 x $100 bets as possible. I handed him his u-know-what in the end though.

That shouldn't be a problem. Day shift is usually the best time to hit the strip casinos.

Don't you know that surrender is for sissies!?!? At least that's what they told me at the Hilton.
(thanks as always for the advice though)

Some decent strip shoes
MGM has twenty something tables from $10 and up, where the dealer stays on soft 17, DA, DAS, RSA, and LS.
Same game at Monte Carlo but less tables
Same game available at several other places for $25, including Mirage, Mandalay Bay, Tropicana (but no replitting aces there) and a few other places.
Best bet is to buy the current issue of CBJN at bj21.com before you go. Gives you a breakdown of all the games and rules at every casino in the U.S. and Canada. Even the penetration and some aspects of what kind of surviellance might be in use.

I got told once to grow a pair after surrendering a few hands. All three times I surrendered the dealer drew to 21 and the table lost, so I guess I can understand the ploppy reaction.
I said to the guy "oh, I've got quite a pair, ask your mom" which got a pretty rude response. I ended up fighting the guy in the parking lot. I think I'd get the nod for a split decision, but I also had a split lip and my shoulder hurt for a week or so. He was a little tougher than he looked. That guy must have waited outside for an hour for me.
Wow, I'm rambling. I still use surrender when I can, but I don't answer the critics anymore.
