A lot of las vegas casinos have 6 to 5 blackjack a game with a house edge 3 times higher than a shoe even on single deck. They have CSM (continous shuffle machines) on there shoes as well. Plus it is miserable living Las Vegas with high temperterues and ugly landscaping. Compared to Lake Tahoe with full pay blackjack few CSM's and the most beutiful place to live on the entire planet.

There are no double deck games in Reno or Tahoe that compare with the S-17 double deck games available in Vegas. .19% house edge

There are no 6 deck shoes in Reno or Tahoe that compare with the S-17 six deck shoes available in Vegas. .26% house edge.

There are no casinos in Tahoe or Reno that handle high bettors as well as some of the Vegas casinos do.

There are also, very few decent single deck games in Vegas, compared to many more Reno and a few in Tahoe.

Your statement of crap jack, is just that, full of crap!

Cardcounter is the name of a dealer who also plays blackjack in his area. He knows nothing about Vegas and sometimes comes off like a representative of his local chamber of commerce.
Most of us have read this stuff from him before and sometimes correct him and other times ignore him.

These threads are hilarious. I don't whether to laugh or cry at them. Laugh because they are so ridiculous, or cry at how sad it is that a person might actually be posting them and *not* be joking.

Really, you start a thread once in a while, spouting off some explanation of something like it's the Next Big Thing, some wonderful epiphany you've had about blackjack, and it ends up being some ridiculous, erroneous jumble of crap. Put the crackpipe down, quit drinking, ease off the meds, and get another hobby. Seriously. For your own good as well as ours.

Asperger's much?

And the odd thing is: Vegas has neither the best DD, the best shoe, the best comps, the best playing conditions, nor the best promotions in the country.

Which is why being I live in the Northeast and I have to travel someplace to get to any games better than my local games, Vegas is rarely the choice. There's always something better someplace else.

On the other hand, you can always find something good enough to play in Vegas, no matter your skills or betting levels.

I agree that you can find here and there better games than those available in Vegas but where else can you find perhaps 20 casinos that each have at least one decent game all close to each other. Spend 4 days in Vegas play most of those 20 places and you might never wear out a welcome. That is one thing I like about the place best.
