Yeah, I've emailed this guy a few times. Apparently he does a little shuffle tracking and side bet work here and there. I really enjoyed his blog. It really shows the frustration and turmoil he goes through sometimes.

I just really want to find out what countries he's in. Sounds like Borat's village in Kazakhstan most of the time!

edit: actually, sounds like he got beat up on his last trip, playing a game with half a shoe cut off with "only" bets of 2x$250, but still managing to lose $12,000. Dayumn.

you're right, it really does seem like some shady places he goes to because being able to see all the cards spread out seems very important to this guy.
