Default Revenge, revenge, REeeeevenge!

Haha this is one of my funny story, so hold on.

1)I play at Montréal casino. In this casino, one can bet on another hand.

Okay, here's what happened. A woman was bidding on my hand, and bidded MUCH more than me (she put 50$ on my 10$ bet). I get 8 vs dealer 5, high count, so naturally I double down. She becomes very pissed and calls me a loser.

Guess what I get? A 2. Next card is a 10, of course. And the dealer ends with 17. The woman is pissed. She calls me by all the names. And no, the dealer doesn't do anything. Actually, they call her by her first name. Lol.

So, she insults me, stupid ****ing asshole, I should be hung by my balls (Yeah, she said that),bla bla bla... I'm the gentle little guy, so I don't answer. But the cards have been bad, and I'm starting to feel pissed. I decide to get my revenge.

A few hands later, she puts a 75$ bet on my 10$ bet. I am dealt 20 vs dealer 8. She looks quite happy, so I turn back, watch her in the eye, and give her an wink.

"Hit me" I say.
"Wha?" says the dealer.
"WHAT THE **** YOU'RE DOING YOU GOT 20" says the lady"
"HIT... ME".

But the dealer doesn't. The lady is now crying all over the table and tries to push me from the table. Visibly, the dealer doesn't want to piss off Mr. Bitch. The pit boss comes and ask what's the problem. He finally agree and say that according to the rules, she is bound to my decisions.

"Hit me."

I bust. She starts yelling. Everyone at the table looks at me like a ****ing moron. But I'm laughing inside. So hard. The bitch calls it theft. AND SHE TRIES TO GET HER CHIPS BACK FROM THE TABLE. You won't believe what happened next: THE CASINO LET HER HAVE HER CHIPS BACK, BUT NOT MINE. That's right, she just took her 100$ back and they take my 10$! They say it is a "credit to a loyal customer" or some other bullshit AND THEY WON'T GIVE ME ANYTHING.

Well, I guess I got taught a lesson. Was still fun to watch her cry thought. Seriously, that's ****ed up. On a hand I would say I won't ever play there again, but I won so much...

PS: Please keep in mind I really didn't care about 10 ****ing dollars, and that I wanted to avenge myself from her calling me names.

I like it! Even though she got her money back, I imagine that it was WELL worth it to see her take about 6 months off of her lifespan with all that stress!

That's a funny story, but probably not what you want to do if you're trying to fly under the radar....

You should have said give me a green chip or I'm hitting......you would have made $35 on the hand!

When sidebetting on a pool match, it is a rule of thumb not to bet more than the players themselves are betting. You know, the player you're betting on might throw the game and split the money with his opponent. It seems like a good rule in BJ, too; at least the player you bet on won't be as likely to threaten hitting if you stand to lose no more than he. lol

Oh, what a vicious man you are. The pit boss should ban you from playing BJ.

I think you did the right thing, and I find this hilarious! However, I would have been pissed in the same situation. How dare they give the woman her money back, but not yours? I would have given them a piece of my mind, and left to go play at another casino.

By the way Stradf, when you titled this thread, is this the scene you had in mind?

I've never played in a place that allows back-betting,but I thought whomever had the largest bet controled the cards. Am I mistaken?

Foxwoods allows it and it's a good deal for an AP. Seated player calls the shots, no question. But... a backliner can surrender his bet separately from the seated player, has the option of betting more on a double, and has the option of splitting.

I've done it, to get an extra bet down and to get added EV from the split option, and for ace prediction purposes, but I only do it when I believe it's a player I can control. I've also had a counter backline me, rather than jump into my good count.
