Default I think I've been black listed

I was getting room offers in the mail quarterly from several casinos. Don't want to be specific about which ones. Spent eight nights comped in Vegas at three different casinos in June. Nothing really out of the ordinary happened. I had a pit guy watching me here and there at different times, but was never backed off. I was playing with my card more than usual, hoping that the room offers would continue in the future.

Around about August or September, the offers stopped coming. No comped room offers at all. There are also casinos that send me food coupons and gas money coupons. Haven't gotten any of those in a couple of months. The funny thing is, at one of the casinos I have two accounts with different names. Their still sending comps to my second name, but not my first name.

So either my name is on a blacklist, or all these casinos just decided at the same time that they shouldn't comp rooms to people playing at my level. I guess I'll find out when I go back and play with my card. Anybody have any ideas?

At what level were you playing?

I have no idea about the seasonal variations in Vegas, but do they offer more comps in the summer to attract people because it's so dreadfully hot and it's otherwise slower for them?

If I'm guessing correctly about which casino group this is, they normally fill your mailbox with stuff, no matter the level of play. If the mail flow has stopped, that's not a good sign.

It's very likely that your account has been marked "No Offers". There is one possible explanation that's less troublesome. I had a friend recently whose address got mysteriously changed in their system, so that the street address was just a string of meaningless numbers. He stopped at the players club and corrected it and his mail resumed.

Another ploy that might work at some casinos is to tell the player's club boothlings that you had previously asked to not receive mail, but now you'd like to start getting mail. At some less sophisticated operations, that will get them to change your "No Mail" setting.

Its been my consistent experience that the offers don't stop coming EVEN WHEN I've been barred. zg

Are the casinos in the same group? Are they all in Vegas?

There is also a chance that the group just decided your play isn't worth the mail. Harrah's St Louis stopped sending me mail after... oh about one year of not visting there.

It could be from the fact that the offers were to get you on the property to give them your money in the casino. They see they're getting you to show up regularly so maybe now they're seeing if you'll show up anyway.

It could be a change in marketing too... being a different season and all.
