Reading five books in five days is little better than reading no books.
You can't possibly have studied the books or practiced any of the drills the book suggests.Slow down and take your time. The casinos will still be there in a few months.
My favorite book that fits your description is The Womans Guide to Blackjack by Angie Marshall. I'm a guy in my forties but I still think she tells as good a story as I've read.
The Blackjack Zone and Blackjack Bluebook2 are also very good, but you need to practice what you read, not just move on to the next book.

I learned a lot from Blackbelt in Blackjack (Snyder). You should definitely get a copy of Beyond Counting...then lend it to me. I'll send a courier to your door to get it.

This is good, written by yours truly. Will have another article posted in a few weeks as well as a book coming out by next summer.
