"....We're confiscating property now....That's socialism. It's written into the Communist Manifesto. Maybe we ought to see that every person who gets a tax return receives a copy of the Communist Manifesto with it so he can see what's happening to him." --T. Coleman Andrews (a Democrat); IRS Commissioner under the Eisenhower Administration, U.S. News & Report, May 25, 1956
While you have been at work this week trying to earn enough money to fund unconstitutional expenditures like dues to the communist UN, the corrupt World Bank, foreign aid and pork projects, all with BORROWED paper since the U.S. Treasury is not only empty, it's overdrawn nine $9 TRILLION dollars, Congress has been wasting their time, again, on nonsense: House condemns MoveOn.org's Petraeus ad and House Resolution Supporting Limbaugh. If members of Congress wish to express their displeasure over a newspaper ad and more bombastic gas from a phony like Rush Limbaugh who mislead his own faithful, they should do it on their own time. This is nothing but more political theater while Americans suffer. I've pointed out before how these worthless career bureau-rats waste time while on the public payroll while foolish Americans cheer them on in exchange for empty campaign promises.
These shameful marionettes continue to ignore what's right in front of their well fed faces:

Its not advertised but liabilties section of the US balance sheet SHOULD/WOULD read somewhere around $40 trillion. The US treasury may be over drawn by 9 trillion, but we still owe 30 trillion more over the next 35-40 years. A good chunk of that is owed to us, the tax paying citizens. But due to tricky financial reporting, especialy when it comes to the Govt., it doesn't show up clearly. Sort of like Ford and GM. They had a negative equity balance for years and never really showed up on their blance sheet.
Oh ya about 20 trillion of that came from the current administration. I believe the brilliant resurrection of Medicare/Medicade put us around 8-11 trillion by itself. Thanks W, Best President Ever!

Policy: Avoid the problem and hope it goes away
Government debt has reached numbers where it is just so astronomicaly high that it can not be understood by just about any of us. What is a trillion or 40?
Congress and our President remind me of that Ostrich with his head hiding in a hole knowing that if he does not see the danger then it does not exist.
Now think if you ran your household the same way. Run up all the debt possible and then multiply it many many times, keep your lifestyle more than just the same, spend more. The result, bankruptcy. Why is it really different for a country? It has not been different for many other countries.
Could the day come where our dollar is worthless and we are selling our assets to other countries to pay our debts?

They're allowed to condemn it. That's not a violation of free speech.
