My negative progression system

OK, here is my own progression system

There are 38 betting levels worth the following units

1,2,3,4,5,6,8,10,12,16,20,25,30,40,50,60,80,100,120,160,200
250,300,400,500,600,800,1000,1200,1600,2000,2500,3000,4000
5000,6000,8000,10000

you start at the first level, 1 unit, every time you lose a bet you go up a betting level every time you win a bet, you go down 2 levels on the system,
until you are (hopefully) back to 1 unit

Exceptions: when you win a double bet, you go down 3 levels, triple 4 levels,
quadruple or more 6 levels. When you lose a double or more go up 2 levels.
If you get a blackjack, go down 2 levels as per normal win.

Example (2L indicates 2 units bet, lost, 4LL indicates 4 unit bet, doubled lost)

1L, 2L, 3L, 4L, 5W, 3LL 5L 6WW, 3L, 4W, 2W totals 7/11 hands lost overall lost 1 unit.

I've used a shortened version of this, say up to 15 levels online, capped
by betting limits of the casino, my bankroll. As you might expect, i'm not doing
any better then a flat better would, but I find it a fun system to liven up
my online bonus hustling.

If you just look at single bets won/lost, it looks as though you would be taking a signifcant hit if you spend
much time at the higher betting levels..
eg: if you repeat the cycle 80L,100L,120W,80L,100L,120W a few times, your
down 60 units for every time you repeat it. In reality though blackjacks, and double triple bets tend to cancel this effect out, so assuming you dont actually bust all 38 betting levels you come out close to break even or better against negative fluctuations.

As to the 38 betting levels, this is because it is exceedingly rare to lose more
than say 20 bets in a row. To bust using this system you either need to lose
38 in a row, or 40/41 or 60/71 or 80/101 etc, etc...180/251. So the long run demise of this system will be in the very long run indeed, likely not in your
lifetime.

the next problem of finding a way to be able to bet up to 10,000 units
on a hand. You could start at a smaller place, betting $10 per unit
and then if you lose enough to hit the table max move to a higher limit table or bigger casino if necessary. Will any casino allow $100,000 maximum bets?
If you cant find one that will allow you to bet $100000 on BJ, perhaps you could resort to roulette for the higher bets.

The BR required for this is 10 times the max bet, or in my $10unit, $1million

thats hilarious.. it would be sad if anybody responded to this with seriousness, either positively or negatively, because clearly, you are mocking all progression players.. im aware i pointed out the obvious, but you know somebody will seriously try to break down his system

Thank you for discovering the one exception to the rule. We will all sleep better tonight knowing there is a way to beat the house without counting or other AP techniques. Although if this gets out, there may be no casinos left by year's end. To be on the safe side, maybe we should get Ken to pull this thread.
