Default Brewer offers lifetime of free beer for laptop

WELLINGTON, New Zealand - A New Zealand brewer is offering a lifetime supply of free beer in exchange for the return of a laptop stolen in a break-in.
Croucher Brewing Co. co-owner Paul Croucher said Friday the computer contains “all our financials” as well as label designs for new beers and business contacts.
“So we decided that if anyone does come into possession of it we’ll be happy to offer them a reward — a dozen (bottles) of beer a month for the rest of their life,” he said.

12 per month is light.

figured it more as a publicity stunt.

ya but according to counselors and crap, if your drinking more than 12 beers a month, you probably have some sort of problem, which clearly any logical person would disagree.. maybe they did that because 1. if they offered something more realistic, such as 12 beers a week, they would kind of be saying that 12 beers a week is the norm, and who knows who would bitch about that, and 2. if they offered something crazy, such as 48 beers per week, people could sell them, altho you would only be getting like $30/week at best

dude, you over analyze everything. if you get 12 kegs, you can throw raging parties. (12 kegs is a joke, as is the reward, its all publicity)
