when making gynecologist jokes, and thinking of hot girls and all that, think of this.. look around you when in public; what % of the women you see would you like to examine? ya, its no longer a cool job now is it? its quite gross actually.. even if it was 80% (its more like 10%), imagine the nastyness of the others

Besides that, the hours are terrible and the cost of malpractice insurance in many states is absurd.

Default malpractice rates

are horrendous . My family doctor said he could cut his fees in half if his malpractice was not $125,000.00 a year . As he says anybody can makle a mistake and they should be compensated but not what these juries are handing out . He personally would like to refer open heart sugery patients to " ROTO ROOTER" if they think they want to sue all the time. He is 58 and is going to terach medicine at Case Medical School as the rates are driving him out of business !!!! There goes another Doctor out of the system - and people ask why it is so hard to get a Doctors appointment !!! Keep suing them folks and you will see how really hard it is to have a doctor .

Heres an idea.
If my doctor doesn't perform malpractice, then I won't sue him for it.
I'm more than willing to live up to my half of the bargin.
