Default since when are web addresses case sensitive?

blackjackinfo.com/BB doesnt work but /bb does.. odd

Domain names aren't case sensitive, but once you get past the / you're into the directory tree, which may be case sensitive, depending on the OS (as is the case w/Unix.)

This guy makes a lot of sense....he must know about ascii ...most windows users dont

the php extension pretty much gives it away
