Blue Chip layoff 6%
Blue Chip has announced a layoff of 6% of it's employees due to the competition from the recently opened New Buffallo casino in michigan.
This is an opportunity for BC to improve their games to attract back customers, compete, especially since NB has nothing special to offer in the gaming area, poor BJ and hi min limit craps , unless you play in the HS room. I have seen some positive things happen in the Midwest in regards to competition making things better, and I fully expect to see more. I would advise BC to offer a good DD and 4d game as well as European Roulette and lower min limit craps.

Let's hope they do try and improve things there.. although they're really not that bad there considering how crappy the rest of the Chicago area is.
I think the place could benefit from changing their marketing strategy.
I have a credit line there and give them a decent amount of action. I have NEVER received a coupon for anything there.. the only marketing I receive comes in the form of an annoying automated phone call from time to time about some drawing I could care less about.

Competition
is a great thing and always works over time. I only play if I have a fine game that I can get a good advantage at, thus I will drive many hours to get to these places and go right past other casinos on the way.
BC deserves to get punished for their sins.
There will soon be another casino opening in Battle Creek Mi.

is it pronounced buffalo despite being spelled buffallo? also, is this the blue chip in indiana? i thot that was the best casino of the 4 casinos in northwest indiana? i have never been, as its like 90 minutes away from my house, but i heard they have $5 games 24/7 and offer 6 deck s17 with standard rules (-.43%)

I've not yet been to Blue Chip, but I did stop by Four Winds this weekend and it was VERY nice!
Of course I could not gamble because I am only 19, but after seeing it I understand why it is giving Blue Chip problems.
Those two casinos bill-board battle for like 100 miles on the highway!

I have not been to Four Winds yet, but I think I'm going to have to check them out, since I have been barred from Blue Chip.
