Default Foxwood dealers vote for Union.

Foxwood dealers voted to become members of the UAW. The vote carried by over 60%
I think this might be the first Indian Casino to have a contested Union election. This could be a dramatic sea change for the 250,000 non-Indian casino workers employed by Tribal Casinos.

UAW must be hurting from all the membership losses at the big 3.

It's definitely a mixed bag- I want to see the contract before I can say the dealers gained anything.

All Foxwoods has to do is grease the appropriate people at the UAW and the local level, and the dealers will end up with a contract that's worse than what they get now. And Foxwoods has the money to do it. In that circumstance, the only winner will be the UAW.
