Default Mac operating systems

Greetings -- total beginner here, but from what I can glean from other posts, if one is using a Mac, as I am, then online gaming software is not compatible. True?

If you have to download the software, no. If it is a web based application, usually.

Thanks for the info. Maybe I'll try a site or two and see what they offer.

Hi -- Macs are great machines. The downside has always been the software side, but for what I need -- photos, music, word, netsurfing -- outstanding.

I've never owned a mac but I have played around with one. I run linux as my primary os on my computers. I have heard of some people getting some poker software to run with "wine". I believe there is a mac version, however it would probably be slow and buggy. If you have the intel processor you could install xp and dual boot. I have a xp partition to run CVCX and full tilt.

Just my 2 cents.
