Default craps system

Can you guys post your favorite craps systems. Please share the best ones you have too.

Also, I found this one ebayer trying to sell his system. He claims to "have all the point numbers covered: 4-5-6-8-9-10 ..... BUT NOT LOSE with a "7 Out". You will also not lose if a 2-3-12 is rolled.
GUARANTEED NO LOSS when any of these numbers are rolled (at any time) 2-3-4-5-6-8-9-10-12."

He also says his systems allows for bets as low as $6. I can't seem to figure out the system. Anyone can give this a shot?

It doesn't work. Any craps system that doesn't involve loaded or gaffed dice is certain not to work. Or maybe dice control. But not this crap.

I understand they don't work but playing with a system can minimize your losses right?

Personally I don't play craps in a real casinos, but my favorite system I've read about is the doey don't system. I think the author's logic is that if a player sevens out it will most likely be in the first 3 rolls, this is true but only because it is a geometric distribution. The system is bet both pass and don't pass on the come out roll, wait 3 rolls and then take odds on your pass line bet. If the shooter sevens out or makes his point in those three rolls just start again. You can also add numbers by betting come/don't come and taking odds.

Of course there is no mathematical advantage to his system, you lose on a 12 in the come out roll and and all other bets are pushes or long-run pushes; however, if the casino offers at least 2X odds then the doey don't with odds is strictly better than any place or buy bet, but it will still not be better than any pass/come and odds bet.
Ex:
$100 place 6,8 Expected loss= $1.52
$50 doey don't $100 odds: Expected loss=$1.39
$50 pass/come $100 odds: Expected loss=$.071

Betting as little as possible on bets with a house edge minimizes losses. But if it entertains you and minimums are low enough a system can be fun. I've played Oscars Grind before, Doey Don't also seems pretty conservative. I came up with my own system where you win on every number except a soft 10... but no one has named that after me yet

That strategy is definitely a low-edge, low-volatility way to play. Barring a 12on the comeout roll (where the Pass Line bet is lost), your only bet is really the odds bet you're making...and that's at no edge whatsoever. Not real exciting, but a solid play.

good luck

Check out my explanation of systems such as the Iron Cross or "Win on Anything" at my blog. Any time you're wagering on all the numbers, you've just got a massive hedge bet that will return you a fraction of your total bet amount...and usually a complete bomb when the 7 rolls.

Save your money and wager the core bets...low house edge and less money to lose.

good luck

It's free for the taking! I originally started it up to give info to some friends...but I figured that more people may find it helpful.

I think it's the "Stay Out of the Hedges" post that talks about some of those elaborate hedge bet combinations. Bottom line is that they pretty much carry a house advantage many times over some of the best bet combinations in the game.

good luck
